I was born here in Invercargill, New Zealand back in 1954. I was the fifth child
of Joyce nee Burgess and Stanley Smith. I have five brothers and one sister. Trevor, Geoffrey, Carolyn, Reggie, and
two younger brothers Grant and Winston.

My husband Tony and I have been together since 2000 and we got married in
2004. English by birth but he is becoming a Kiwi!!
I started researching my family tree in around 1989 and published a booklet
in 1996 and an update in 2002. Some of the links on this page will tell you about my whanau.

How many letters do I deliver each day?

My Job
I work for New Zealand Post delivering
mail. I have done this job for a long time. We deliver the mail on cycles here in New Zealand and I usually bike
around 25 k's a day.
It is a good job with great hours. Sometimes - not very
often - the weather is a bit of a challenge but very rarely do you get cold.
